Q. Do I need a test even if I am fully vaccinated?
A. Yes, it is mandatory to take a test.

Q. Which is an acceptable test for travelling to USA?
A. NAAT, RT PCR, RT LAMP, TMA, NEAR, HDA, Rapid Viral test.

Q. What details are required on the test report?
A. Name as present in Passport, Date of Birth, QR code, and passport number, from an ICMR approved Lab.

Q. When should I take the test?
A. 72 hours (3 days) prior to the departure time of the flight.

Q. Do I need to upload my results on any portal/website?
A. No it is not required.

Q. Do I need to quarantine on arrival?
A. It is not mandatory, but it is advised to take a test on the 3rd day after arrival and quarantine for 7 days with a negative result or 10 days without test.

Q. Do I need to take a test for my kids?
A. CDC advises taking tests for children above 2 years of age.

Q. Who is eligible to travel directly to the USA currently?
A. Citizens of USA, parents of unmarried citizens of USA.

Q. How can I travel if my visa/status is not eligible to travel directly to the USA due to a travel ban?
A. You can either apply for NIE (National Interest Exception) or travel through 3rd country route.

A. The requirements vary from country to country. Please check announcements for options available.
